The day will include a talk (theme to be announced), a walk around the gardens and the chance to treat yourself to some herbs from the huge selection at the NHC. This is a relaxed event to enable members to meet each other and talk about herbs as well as having a fun herby day out. Bring a picnic lunch with you which can all sit and enjoy in the gardens of the centre. Or treat yourself to a wonderful herby lunch from the Bistro at the centre.

There are over 500 varieties of herbs at the National Herb Centre and other plants such as fruit trees, roses and climbers. Herbs are laid out alphabetically and there are several sections dedicated to one specific herb and all it's varieties. They also have a wide variety of lavenders, mints and thymes. The centre will satisfy the herb culinary connoisseur, delight the gardener and fascinate anyone with an interest in herbal medicine and the many uses of herbs.

We can now take payments via PayPal, as well as by cheque, and credit card (over the phone).

Cheque - Print off the booking form and send your cheque and form to The Herb Society, Sulgrave Manor, Sulgrave, Banbury, OX17 2SD, UK. N.B. When booking for the Members Picnic and paying by cheque, please make sure that your cheque is made out to "The Herb Society".
