Note on posting messages

When you click to post a message, the form you are given to fill in states that you are not logged on.  This means that you are not logged on to Network54 which hosts the forum for us.  You can ignore this message - the site is set up so that you don't have to be logged on to Network54 to send a message.  The form also asks for your e-mail address.  This is optional.  So, if you want to preserve your privacy, you need not give your e-mail address.

If you need help in posting, you are welcome to e-mail me or even to ask me to post the message on your behalf.

Note that the Herb Society is a charity and discourages the use of advertising - so please do not place adverts on this forum.  The Society will delete any message which we feel is not appropriate.  We may use interesting posts in other publications like our Herbs magazine, so anything you post to this Forum automatically becomes the copyright of the Herb Society.

Remember forum etiquette.  Lively discussion is acceptable even if this leads to disagreement.  It is fine to disagree with what another person has said but you must never attack the person themselves or the way they make their point.  Hence posts which criticise other people will be deleted.
