The starting point for this web site was the excellent Schools Information Pack produced in1999 by The Herb Society. This was written by Sally Startup, with help from Anthony Lyman-Dixon and Christina Stapley. Janet Blundell and David Butterworth were initially the main designers and contributors to the schools website and whom we have to thank for all their hard work. Photographs were contributed by Janet Blundell, David Butterworth, Debs Cook, Vida Graham, Alan Lakin and Ann Walker. The cartoons of Nick and Rosie were drawn by Stanley Pelter. The picture of Roman Footwear on the Stories from world history page is by permission of the Romans in Britain web site.
